Assignment 1.1: Research in Psychology is due today.
Whether psychologists conduct naturalistic observations, case studies, surveys or experiments, their investigations usually generate a large amount of data. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS are the methods most often used to summarize and analyze those data. After observations are made, they must be analyzed. Describing behavior is the first step toward predicting it. Today we will look at how psychologists analyze data by Correlation (a measure of how closely one thing is related to another).
After viewing the PowerPoint and taking notes, students will complete and hand in an assignment about Correlations.
